Valve 06.07.2017 tarihinde saat 00:02 sularında Valve Anti Cheat (VAC) sistemini çok sert bir biçimde devreye sokmuş, Counter Strike : Global Offensive online oyunda hile yazılımları tespit edilmiş olup sistemi güncelleyen Valve yeni kaynak kodları bulmasının ardından Steam üzerinde CS GO. oynayan hile kullanan veya sistemin eskiden dahi olsa açıp kullandığını gösteren tüm oyun hesaplarına 06.07.2017 tarihinde 00:02 sularında acımasızca VAC yasağı getirmiştir.
